Stafford MSD Board President Christopher Caldwell started a new tradition at Monday's Board Meeting by presenting the First Annual President's Award in Educational Excellence. The inaugural honoree was Dr. Rep. Alma Allen, who has proudly served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2004.

Former Teacher Makes an Impact As A Counselor

Sherri Hobbs taught Kindergarten for 28 years, including 20 years in Stafford. Almost a decade ago, she decided to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. “As a teacher, I saw such a need for it, to help students with what they’re dealing with in their lives,” Hobbs said. “I wanted to have a larger impact with more students.”
